Built on eLMNOP's Global Classroom model
Since 2013, Santosh Talaghatti has run the Global Classroom Initiative through eLMNOP Innovative Education and Research Pvt. Ltd. in Pune, India — connecting rural schools directly to scientists, engineers, and mentors from India and 15 countries abroad, and reaching over a thousand schools along the way.
Global Classrooms Foundation is the U.S.-based nonprofit built to carry that same model, and the same growing network of global experts, to more students in more places — starting with the same conviction that has guided this work from day one: a child's circumstances should never decide what they get to learn, or who they get to learn from.
A world where every classroom has a window to the world
We picture a future where any school — regardless of budget, geography, or size — can bring a real scientist, engineer, or mentor into the room, live, whenever a lesson calls for it. Technology makes it possible; this Foundation exists to make it happen for schools that couldn't otherwise access it.

Global Classrooms Foundation is incorporated in California
Articles of Incorporation are filed with the California Secretary of State, establishing Global Classrooms Foundation as a nonprofit public benefit corporation to extend the same model, and the same global expert network, to students beyond India.
Federal 501(c)(3) tax-exempt determination
The Foundation's application for federal tax-exempt status under Internal Revenue Code section 501(c)(3) — a separate step from state incorporation — is currently in progress with the IRS.
